Welcome to Mount Olive Shores

Social Committee Letter

Hello Neighbors!

We would like to introduce ourselves as your Social Committee members!

Jim Johnson, 5214 Island View Circle N., 214-578-3999, email: jaj2007@att.net
Cathy Limes, 4901 Southshore Dr.

2020 has been a trying year for all of us with Covid-19 and it looks like the
beginning of 2021 will be as well. However, we would like to have some get
togethers as a neighborhood while still following the guidelines for social
distancing, etc.

We are looking for ideas of events that we could do and still stay safe! A couple of
ideas are to have a bike ride on the nearby bike trails. We would need a couple of
volunteers who have a truck or trailer to transport the bikes to and from the
trails. Another idea is to have an outdoor burger cookout where we could
maintain social distancing.

The social committee belongs to all of us and we would welcome your ideas on
events that you would like to see happen in Mount Olive Shores. Whenever we
get past this pandemic, we will be able to have more indoor events. In the
meantime, we would love to have your input on things we could do and still
follow the safe guidelines of social distancing, etc. Idea's for indoor events are
welcome also. We just can't do them yet.

If you have any idea's, and/or, are willing to volunteer any help for events, please
let us know. We welcome all idea's!

We ask that you direct all idea's to Jim Johnson at this time. Cathy has her hands
full right now.

Thank you in advance! We look forward to hearing from you!
